Any adult interested in dancing and getting a work out in the process.

What is the style of the class?
Each class will begin with a warm-up that includes Pilates and work out exercises. It will continue with Modern and Jazz technique and then complete with a combo in the style of Jazz or Musical Theatre.

What should you wear and bring?
Non- Baggy comfortable clothes that you would work out in and lightweight tennis shoes or jazz dance shoes. Bring a yoga mat for the warm up portion of class.

About the Instructor:
April Schaeffer
April is in her 3rd year teaching the Adult Dance Class. She is a graduate of the Fine Arts Center, was a member of the Southeast Theatre Dance Company, and has been a principal dancer for GLT for the past 10 years where she also acts regularly. April is a full time dance instructor, teaches musical theatre classes for the South Carolina Children's Theatre, and choreographs regularly for several local theatres and competitive dance groups.
